More than 5,000 people attended a demonstration in my small hometown Husum. In all over Germany hundrets of thousands demonstrated for democracy on this years Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27). The protesters stood up against racism, against neo-Nazis and the German far right populist party Alternative for Germany (AfD).
